The Golden Birthday!
Yesterday was my birthday. My golden birthday. Turned 29 on the 29th! My fabulous hubby went above and beyond throwing a party for me here at the house. We had a blast! Endless supplies of Shiner, fajitas, laughter, and FUN! (I paid for the 'fun' all. day. long.)

19 Months
We are now closer to 2 years old than 1 year old and it's freaking me out a little bit. When my parents used to say, "You're still my little girl" or "You grew up so fast" I would think to myself "Yea right." I'm eating my words now and they taste pretty bitter going down. She is growing up too fast.
Because of the holidays, we didn't get in to see the doctor for her 18 month checkup until today, her 19 month birthday.
She is just shy of 30 lbs, 33 3/4 in tall, and is still rockin' a pretty decent sized noggin. ;)
She is 'talking' like crazy these days.
Words she can say:
*hi
*nigh nigh
*mama
*dada
*juice
*milk
*cookie
*apple
*elephant
*and most recently, french fry
I find myself longing for a tiny little baby to hold again, but we are nowhere near ready or able to take that on at this point. Sigh... I would love to see this little girl be a big sister. :) She continues to entertain us constantly and keeps us on our toes during all waking hours.
She has her grandparents wrapped around her tiny little fingers.
She loves going to school...loves her teachers...loves her friends.
Her favorite movie remains 'Horton Hears a Who'.
Loves her Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
Adores her bubba. (aka Duke)
And we continue to be smitten...L.O.V.E.

Top Ten of Christmas Break 2010!
Christmas break is coming to a close...booo. ;-) We have had an amazing break...I loved all of this time I got to spend with my girl. Dusty got some extra time off from his job so we were able to enjoy some extra quality family time as well.
